Right after understanding their need for a simple logo that would visually describe the darkroom business they were projecting; ¨ Buy the film from our stock, come back, and I will develop for you ''. The following brainstorming was followed:
First started with exercises of object abstraction: Coming from the idea of crossing, an icon-friendly object related to analog photography and an object able to come back. The following objects were chosen: 

Boomerang: after a good execution, it will come back to its owner.

The 35 mm film roll, for many, the introduction to the Analog photography universe.

Both have a similar shape, allowing the creation of a new logo.
The film tongue takes the shape of the boomerang
red is used as background, recalling the safelight and the logo surrounded by a circle ready to stand out in social media and creation of stickers, pins, and other merch.
